I've got new things to post on my site, but I am having problems with the photos. I made a lightbox to have a more consistent look to my photos, with the lighting, etc. However, I can not make them look good. ERGH! I want to get my new products on my site. I just wish I didn't have to take awesome pictures of it first. So frustrating....

busy busy...

I've been busy so I haven't had time to spend making jewelry. However, I did have a boutique last week, so I whipped out a few new things. These are just my prelimary photos - not the ones I will use for my shop. Most of these are available for sale - so contact me if you want it but don't see it in my shop yet! ENJOY!

This bracelet has the YW values on it (from the LDS faith) - only I am keeping it, because I accidentally left out one! But I LOVED making this bracelet. I hand shaped it, and hammered and filed it. It makes me excited to get more into metalworking!

I made this bracelet and earring set with a small strand of beads I picked up in Arizona recently. I love it so much that I am keeping this one too!

new craft...

I've been wanting to learn how to knit for sometime now, and decided that I was ready. I don't know, but something about knitting just appeals to me. It's a craft I can sit on the couch and do while the TV is on, and not feel like I'm just wasting time. Plus, doesn't it just look sooo neat when it's done?! I've tried crochet in the past - and just haven't gotten the hang of it. So I was worried ...

The only people I know that knit - live far away - so I decided to attempt to teach myself. I got myself some minimal gear and off I went. So far so good - I've been able to knit and purl - and I'm working on a basic little scarf for Lily. Nothing exciting, just stockinette stich one color, the whole thing. It's pretty fun I must say! I will post a picture when I finish - just don't laugh if you are a knitter, I'm sure it's awful! In the meantime - I found this site (how have I not found this before????) The Purl Bee and now have a million projects I want to do (not just knitting). Great stuff!!

I've been busy making new stamped pendants. I really really love stamping. It's a nice way to take out your frustrations and stress!
